So I guess that its true, after 3 days of anything your body pretty much adjusts. Its like quitting smoking, the first 3 days are the hardest. Or when you start a new sport. But I really didnt know that you could adjust to no sleep in 3 days. I think I managed to sleep less last night than any other day this week, and yet I woke up peppier than I have any other morning. Or perhaps its that the deadline of saturday is steadily approaching and my brain has finally decided to kick it into high gear? Whatever it is, thank god it happened.
I was able to get both the cakes baked cut and wrapped in tinny and thrown in the freezer. I finally managed to vaccuum the cobwebs from the ceiling and am currently doing laundry WHILE writing a blog. I dont care what you say guys, Id like to see a man TRY to do all that ontop of chasing babies and remembering to feed them breakfast. Score 1 for me :-) ( a little self-patting never hurt anyone, just let me have this)
Benny has a terrible bum rash at the moment and Im almost 100% sure that its the diapers. We used cloth dipes for the first 3.5 months but then when we moved to Powell River, I started using sposies (thanks for the word michelle!). Since then its been an uphill battle against the bum rashes for benny. He goes a few days between poops and then unleashes them all at once and when that happens his poor bottom gets whiped so often in a day that it just starts to fail.. epically. Ive been letting him wander without a dipe today but hes a frequent pee'r. Sneaky guy.
Ive decided that I will no longer watch the weather channel. For the past 2 weeks its been saying saturday is supposed to be about 18 degrees and sunny to 16 degrees and overcast. Well this morning it told me its going to rain. FAN TASTIC! I guess we will just all hunker down in the house and dry not to elbow each other at the party.
Ok enuff procrastinating, time to fold that laundry and get on with my list of chores! I cant wait until these kids are old enuff for me to start the star chart. oh happy day!
